Public Art Mapping Project

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the rebuilding of Santa Barbara as the American Riviera, a community-wide campaign is being launched to celebrate the city’s rich tradition of public art. The project, titled “100 Years of Santa Barbara Public Art,” aims to engage the community in voting for their favorite public art pieces in Santa Barbara.
The Santa Barbara Arts Collaborative, in partnership with Santa Barbara Beautiful, Sullivan Goss, and Irene Hoffman Design, initiated a "Best Of" Public Art voting that culminated on September 4, 2025 in partnership with the Santa Barbara Independent. Participation incentives were given by raffle to those that entered by voting. To view details visit @sbpublic on Instagram.
If there is a publicly accessible art piece not listed on our map or information that needs updating, send a note to info@sbbeautiful.org.
