WHO WE ARE

The Santa Barbara County Creative Communities Project is a collaborative committed to nurturing a sustainable arts and culture sector, promoting equitable access for all, and empowering cultural practitioners to innovate, collaborate, and thrive.

WHAT WE'RE DOING TOGETHER

Collaboratively building and eventually implementing an inclusive, comprehensive and sustainable arts and culture master plan for Santa Barbara County.

WHO OR WHAT ARE CULTURAL PRACTITIONERS?

We define cultural practitioners as any person, group of people or organization that contributes to, nurtures, advances, and engages with, the arts and cultural vitality of Santa Barbara County.

Momentum ProjectLab - our contracted experiential project design firm - will contact all stakeholders beginning December 2018 to provide a Phase 3 overview, encourage you to register for a visioning session at Eventbrite, and follow the free coUrbanize website courbanize.com/ccpsb  to contribute additional ideas, stay updated, engage with an interactive map, while watching the project unfold in real time.

Beginning January 2019, county-wide visioning sessions will be held for three months to capture all cultural practitioners’ ideas for incorporation into the future arts and culture master plan.
