Selections for Art in the Mayor’s Office

SantaBarbaraCityMayor Helene Schneider and the Santa Barbara Arts Collaborative would like to thank everyone who submitted work for Art in the Mayor’s Office. We’d also like to announce and congratulate the artists who were selected for this exhibition.

SantaBarbaraCityCalling all artists!

It’s time for another Call For Entries for Art in the Mayor’s Office. This round the theme is Transitions, light to dark,left to right, sea to sand, you get the picture. Send in you best interpretation in  any all 2D medias. This project in nearly 2 yrs old and has been viewed by hundreds of visitors to Helene’s office. The art we select comes from a broad range of art representing Santa Barbara’s artists, from professionals to emerging artists. Let’s show what Santa Barbara has to offer.
Space is limited so most selections will need to be hanging ready work no larger than 36 inches tall by 36 inches wide INCLUDING THE FRAME. If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please fill out the simple application and submit up to three digital examples of your work.
The deadline to apply is midnight  Saturday, January  25, 2014. The selections will be reviewed by a small panel and announced by January 28th. The opening will coincide with 1st Thursday, February 5th. If you have any difficulties with the registration or application process, our webmaster is available for questions at webmaster@sbartscollaborative.org .
